고린도후서 4
2Corinthians 4
16 그러므로 우리가 낙심하지 아니하노니 겉 사람은 후패하나 우리의 속은 날로 새롭도다
16 Therefore we do not become discouraged, but even though our outer nature is wearing away, yet our inner nature is being renewed day by day.
17 우리의 잠시 받는 환난의 경한 것이 지극히 크고 영원한 영광의 중한 것을 우리에게 이루게 함이니
17 For this momentary light affliction is working for us a far more exceeding and everlasting weight of glory;
18 우리의 돌아보는 것은 보이는 것이 아니요 보이지 않는 것이니 보이는 것은 잠간이요 보이지 않는 것은 영원함이니라
18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are everlasting.

2Corinthians 5
1 만일 땅에 있는 우리의 장막집이 무너지면 하나님께서 지으신 집 곧 손으로 지은 것이 아니요 하늘에 있는 영원한 집이 우리에게 있는 줄 아나니
1 For we know that if the earthly house of our tent is dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, everlasting, in the heavens.
2 과연 우리가 여기 있어 탄식하며 하늘로부터 오는 우리 처소로 덧입기를 간절히 사모하노니
2 For truly in this we groan, longing to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven,
3 이렇게 입음은 벗은 자들로 발견되지 않으려 함이라
3 since, after we have put it on, we will not be found naked.
4 이 장막에 있는 우리가 짐 진 것 같이 탄식하는 것은 벗고자 함이 아니요 오직 덧입고자 함이니 죽을 것이 생명에게 삼킨 바 되게 하려 함이라
4 For indeed we who are in this tent do groan, being burdened; not that we desire to be unclothed, but that we desire to be clothed, that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.
5 곧 이것을 우리에게 이루게 하시고 보증으로 성령을 우리에게 주신 이는 하나님이시니라
5 Now he who made us for this very thing is God, who also gave to us the down payment of the Spirit.
6 그러므로 우리가 항상 담대하여 몸에 거할 때에는 주와 따로 거하는 줄을 아노니
6 Therefore, we are always confident and know that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord;
7 이는 우리가 믿음으로 행하고 보는 것으로 하지 아니함이로라
7 for we walk by faith, not by sight.
8 우리가 담대하여 원하는 바는 차라리 몸을 떠나 주와 함께 거하는 그것이니라
8 We are of good courage, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord.
9 그런즉 우리는 거하든지 떠나든지 주를 기쁘시게 하는 자가 되기를 힘쓰노라
9 Therefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well pleasing to him.
10 이는 우리가 다 반드시 그리스도의 심판대 앞에 드러나 각각 선악간에 그 몸으로 행한 것을 따라 받으려 함이라
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
